About Us

2B Heard was founded in September 2015 by Dave Wooster and Sam Nankivell. Combining the knowledge and practical experience of genuine audio professionals with a select range of premium professional audio brands and exceptional service and support, our ethos is to encourage the use of innovative technology to provide the very best audio solutions.

Initially established as the UK’s K-Array loudspeakers distributor, the company has now grown to include Astro Spatial Audio and Innosonix amplifiers in its UK-exclusive portfolio, alongside Solid State Logic’s LIVE range of consoles.

We offer the highest level of technical support, built upon real-world experience within the UK entertainment technology industry. The UK’s leading specialist in the design and use of K-Array systems, 2B Heard can partner your operation to give you as much support as you need.

Our in-house production facility allows us to develop and support our customers’ projects from initial concept right through to final delivery.

 

Dave Wooster

Dave has 35 years’ experience in the Pro-Audio Industry. Initially working in the live sound / touring environments, he branched-out into recording and audio-production – giving him a diverse skills-set that fully supports 2B Heard’s customers.

His live touring covered systems-design and FOH engineering World-wide, with a sweeping spread of prolific artists and across an extensive range of different environments and situations. This diverse background provides a unique insight into solutions and applications that help support our customers’ requirements.

Dave’s comprehensive recording and production work in the studio and broadcast sectors supports the studio production side of the company, when providing content for the new immersive audio market.

Sam Nankivell

Graduating from the BRIT School in 2000, Sam joined London’s Barbican Theatre as a lighting technician. His subsequent freelance career engendered an in-depth understanding of production lighting, audio and video.

As Operations Manager for a number of London venues, Sam gained a creative, commercial and technical grounding – putting this to good use in his sales and project management career: sourcing, designing, selling and project-managing high-profile installations into cruise ships, theatres and houses of worship.

Whilst a Sales Manager at Sennheiser UK, Sam’s commercial ability delivered consistent results using industry best-practice. Promoting the use of audio technology in both the touring and integrated systems sectors remains a passion. Sam heads up the day-to-day commercial operation at 2B Heard, covering sales, marketing and general management.

Mark Morley

Morley brings a wealth of experience to 2B Heard, having worked in virtually every field of the entertainment industry from FOH to TV studios, and with every associated type of technical equipment. Mark’s unique skill is his deep understanding of how systems, and the individual components within them, interact with each other and what natural synergies there are to be harnessed.

Marks formative career covers audio, AV and lighting systems design, sales management and several years as a trade sales BDM supplying resellers and hire companies. He has designed hundreds of educational, leisure and professional installations.
